Griffith is the leader of a group of mercanaries called the Hawks. Through planning and dedication, Griffith turns the Hawks into a fine group of fighters, led by the huge sword-wielding Gatts. Good fighting scenes and character developement.

Comments:
A story of a guy with a big sword. No, really- the characters are well-developed, the plot is a little hard to get into the first few episodes, but then turns into the story of a troup of mercenaries led by a man who knows what he wants. The series takes a dramatic turn to the supernatural the last few episodes- please watch these last episodes surrounded by loved ones with the lights on!
